Transitioning to electric transport requires confidence that vehicles can meet the demands of daily operations. The DAF XD Electric is powered by efficient PACCAR EX-D1 and EX-D2 permanent magnet electric motors, delivering outputs from 170 kW to 350 kW for smooth, responsive performance.

A choice of battery packs provides zero-emission driving ranges of over 500 kilometres on a single charge. With effective route planning and charging strategies, the XD Electric can even achieve up to 1,000 fully electric kilometres in a single day, offering exceptional flexibility for urban and regional distribution.

Safety is at the heart of the New Generation DAF XD Electric. Built on the award-winning XD platform, it features a low-mounted cab and outstanding direct vision to give drivers excellent visibility of pedestrians, cyclists and other vulnerable road users.

Combined with advanced driver assistance technologies, the XD Electric helps improve driver confidence, reduce risk and support safer operation in busy urban and regional environments.

Maximising efficiency is essential for extending driving range and reducing energy consumption. The DAF XD Electric features an exceptionally aerodynamic cab with smooth contours, rounded corners and seamlessly integrated body panels that minimise wind resistance.

Additional aerodynamic features, including side skirts, deflectors, aerodynamic underbody panels and digital camera mirrors, further reduce drag, helping operators maximise the distance travelled from every battery charge.

Keeping electric vehicles on the road requires charging solutions that fit around your operation. The DAF XD Electric supports rapid DC charging of up to 325 kW, allowing a three-string battery pack to recharge from 0% to 80% in just over 45 minutes, while even the largest battery pack can be fully charged in under two hours.

An optional onboard AC charger provides additional flexibility, allowing convenient charging at depots or other suitable locations and making it easier to integrate electric vehicles into your daily operation.
