Volkswagen Caddy Cargo

The Caddy Cargo provides between 3.1m³ and 3.7m³ of load volume, with a maximum load length of 2,150mm. Payload can reach 700kg, while up to 100kg can also be carried on the roof. This gives operators useful capacity for tools, materials, equipment or deliveries without moving to a larger commercial vehicle. Six lashing rings are provided to help secure loads during transport, supporting a safer and more organised working day.

Easy access matters when drivers are in and out of the load area throughout the day. Short-wheelbase Caddy Cargo Commerce models feature a near-side sliding door, while Maxi versions provide sliding doors on both sides, giving operators more choice over how and where they unload. Solid steel rear doors provide a durable access point, with optional power-latching available for the tailgate and sliding doors. Strengthened floor coverings help protect the working area, while separate load compartment locking allows the cab to remain locked while loading takes place.

The Caddy Cargo offers petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid choices. Petrol and diesel options give operators familiar solutions for varied commercial use, with manual and automatic transmissions available across the range. For businesses covering regular local or urban journeys, the Caddy Cargo eHybrid offers up to 73 miles of equivalent all-electric WLTP range, depending on specification.

The Caddy Cargo includes a Digital Cockpit that presents key driving information directly in front of the driver. Keyless Go reduces the need to handle keys during repeated stops, while front and rear parking sensors support manoeuvring in tighter spaces. Wireless App-Connect allows compatible smartphone functions and apps to be accessed through the infotainment system without requiring a cable.

The Caddy Cargo range offers assistance technologies including Lane Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Front Assist with City Emergency Braking and parking aids, depending on specification. Volkswagen Connected Services add another layer of useful information through the Volkswagen App and the vehicle's integrated connectivity.
