Volkswagen Caddy

The second-row bench can be folded, double-folded or removed, with the bench and individual seat also removable separately. A seven-seat package adds two individual folding seats in a third row. The Caddy Maxi provides an additional 353mm of vehicle length and a larger luggage area. 

Both the short-wheelbase Caddy and Caddy Maxi feature twin sliding rear doors. On the Maxi, the 844mm sliding doors are 143mm wider than those on the short-wheelbase version. Optional power latching can gently close the rear doors and tailgate without them needing to be slammed.

A 10-inch touchscreen provides access to infotainment and connectivity, with the optional Discover navigation system adding route guidance and further functionality. Digital Cockpit Pro can present key driver information clearly, while available IDA voice control allows functions including calls, music and climate settings to be controlled through spoken commands.

Available systems include Front Assist with City Emergency Braking, Active Lane Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go on DSG models. Rear Cross Traffic Alert can warn of potential collisions when reversing from a parking space, while optional Trailer Assist can support steering when manoeuvring with a trailer.

Volkswagen offers Euro 6 TSI petrol, TDI diesel and PHEV engine choices, with manual and automatic transmission options. TDI engines use twin-dosing technology to help reduce NOx emissions, while six-speed manual and seven-speed DSG gearboxes are available. An optional removable and lockable towbar can also support towing up to 1,500kg.
