The e-Transporter Shuttle offers an official WLTP range of between 203 and 218 miles depending on specification, giving operators the flexibility to cover a broad range of daily journeys on electric power. Actual range will vary according to factors including load, weather, speed and driving style. Regenerative braking can also recover energy while slowing down. 

Charging Designed to Fit Around the Working Day

Volkswagen states that e-Transporter models can charge from 10% to 80% using rapid DC charging in around 30 minutes, while an 11kW AC wallbox can provide a full charge in approximately 10 hours 30 minutes.  

The Volkswagen 5 Plus Promise

The VW Transporter is supported by the Volkswagen 5 Plus Promise, helping businesses plan ahead and protect vehicle uptime. 

Fully electric vehicles receive three services and three MOTs. The warranty applies for five years or 124,000 miles, whichever comes first, with limitations, exclusions and terms and conditions applying. 

Flexible Space for Passengers and Luggage

Passenger requirements can change from one journey to the next, particularly for airport, event and group transport. The Shuttle’s seating is designed to provide useful flexibility when more storage space is required. Three individual second-row seats can be folded, rolled or removed using quick-release fasteners, while the third-row three-seat bench can also be folded or removed. This can provide up to 4,343 litres of storage space for luggage, bulky items or equipment.

The e-Transporter Shuttle is designed with passenger comfort in mind, combining generous interior space with the smooth and quiet characteristics of electric driving. Depending on specification, optional equipment includes three-zone air conditioning, a panoramic roof and a Harman Kardon sound system. The Shuttle also provides multiple USB connections within the passenger compartment, helping passengers keep devices charged while travelling.  

Technology That Helps the Driver Stay Connected

The e-Transporter Shuttle features a configurable 12-inch instrument cluster and 13-inch infotainment touchscreen, alongside a multifunction steering wheel, DAB+ radio and wireless App Connect. VW Connect services can also link the vehicle with a smartphone to provide access to supported vehicle information and online functions. Voice Control provides another way to operate multimedia functions without relying solely on the touchscreen.
