Brian Currie Ltd Invests in Sustainable Future with Solar Power and New EV Charging Hub

Solar Panels

Brian Currie Ltd is taking another significant step towards a more sustainable future with the completion of a major solar energy installation at its Milton Keynes headquarters and plans to introduce high-powered electric vehicle charging facilities for customers and the wider public.

As part of the investment, a new 200kW solar PV system, made up of 445 solar panels, is now fully operational at the company’s Milton Keynes DAF site. The system will generate renewable energy to help power the business while supporting the next phase of its sustainability strategy ahead of the installation of new rapid EV chargers.

The upcoming charging hub will feature up to 440kW rapid charging facilities, designed to accommodate a wide range of electric vehicles, including cars, vans and trucks. Once operational, it’s planned that the chargers will be available through a booking system, giving both Brian Currie Ltd customers and members of the public access to local affordable rapid charging at the company’s Bleak Hall site in Milton Keynes.

The investment reflects Brian Currie Ltd’s ongoing commitment to supporting the transition to low-emission transport. As more businesses and drivers make the move to electric vehicles, access to dependable charging infrastructure is becoming increasingly important.

While the installation timetable for the chargers is still to be confirmed, Brian Currie Ltd is inviting businesses, fleet operators and local EV drivers to register their interest and receive updates as the project progresses.

Those interested in using the new charging facilities can register their interest by completing the online form.

We look forward to sharing further updates as the project continues to develop.
