Volkswagen e-Transporter Panel Van

The e-Transporter offers 136 PS or 218 PS depending on trim, combined with rear-wheel drive and an official WLTP electric range of between 210 and 225 miles depending on specification. Volkswagen also equips selected electric variants with features such as a heat pump, heated seating and automatic air conditioning. 

The e-Transporter can carry up to 1 tonne and offers 5.8m³ of cargo volume in short-wheelbase form and 6.8m³ with the long wheelbase. A width of 1,392mm between the wheel arches also makes loading Euro pallets straightforward. Customisable partition walls and a choice of tailgate or wide-opening rear doors provide further flexibility.

When a van is used throughout the day, the cab becomes part transport, part office and part workspace. The e-Transporter addresses this with ergonomically designed seating intended to provide support over longer journeys, alongside practical storage areas and cup holders that keep everyday essentials within easy reach. 

The middle seat can also fold down to provide a useful working surface, while an available 230V power hub adds further practicality. Combined with the quieter and more composed characteristics highlighted for the e-Transporter, the result is a working environment designed to make busy days behind the wheel more comfortable and manageable, helping drivers stay productive when moving between customers, sites or deliveries.

The e-Transporter includes Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Assist and side curtain airbags as standard, helping support the driver during everyday journeys. 

Additional systems can include Dynamic Road Sign Display and Intelligent Speed Assist, while parking technology helps when manoeuvring in confined areas. Rear parking sensors are standard, with front sensors and a rear-view camera included on Commerce Plus and Commerce Pro. A 360-degree Area View camera is also available.

The e-Transporter provides two 15W USB data and charging ports in the dashboard, alongside USB-C and USB-A connections in the centre console. 

Wireless smartphone charging can also be specified, reducing the need for cables around the cab. For tradespeople and mobile teams carrying powered equipment, an optional 230V power hub provides additional flexibility. These features turn the e-Transporter into more than transport between jobs. They help create a connected mobile working environment where drivers can keep essential devices charged and ready without having to rely on separate power solutions during the day.

Fully electric vehicles receive three services and three MOTs. The warranty applies for five years or 124,000 miles, whichever comes first, with limitations, exclusions and terms and conditions applying.
