Sponsorship

Brian Currie (Milton Keynes) Ltd is passionate about supporting local causes and organisations within Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. We are proud sponsors of the organisations below as well as many local events, teams and businesses.

Willen Hospice is the only adult hospice in Milton Keynes and the surrounding area. The charity is close to so many people’s hearts because of the difference their individualised, specialist care can make to end-of-life patients and their families, whether the care is delivered in people’s homes or at the lakeside hospice. The staff and volunteers give patients and their loved ones the opportunity to really make the most of the time they have left, together. In addition to clinical care, patients and families are also able to access holistic support that could include complementary therapy, spiritual or bereavement support and social care support. This care is all delivered free of charge, but it costs the hospice £9 a minute to fund this. Support from local business is vital in helping to raise this amount.

Brian Currie (Milton Keynes) Ltd are proud to have supported Willen Hospice for over a decade.

“Willen Hospice provides a lot of support and care for people and we all hope we don’t have to, but inevitably some of our staff and families will end up having to use the services so we feel that it’s only right that we give back to the community and help where we can.”
– Des Conway

The MND Association is a charity that focuses on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND (Motor Neurone Disease). The Milton Keynes Branch is justifiably proud to serve and support members of our local MND community. Money raised locally is used to support our members in a number of ways such as assisting with additional fuel bills, transport to specialist hospital appointments and arranging the installation of stair lifts.

We are supremely grateful to our corporate sponsor Brian Currie (Milton Keynes) Ltd for their support in running our monthly drop-ins, where we encourage anyone affected by MND to meet up and discuss any needs or concerns they may have. Our friendly team are always on hand to answer any questions, to offer a shoulder to lean on, or to simply have a chat over a cup of tea and a slice of cake! We also offer support to family members, including children, via activity days and Christmas gifts. People living with MND, their families and carers are at the heart of everything we do. If you would like to find out more, please visit our branch page website or visit the MNDA website.

We am thrilled to share that we are sponsoring William Bennett Motorsport! William has been racing for a few years now, and his recent promotion to a higher division is truly impressive. He's even been competing in National Competitions, which is a testament to his immense talent and dedication to the sport. It's an honour to support such a talented athlete, and we can't wait to see what William accomplishes in the future.
