The Brian Currie journey

Brian Currie has been a trusted name in Milton Keynes since the 1975, when the business began with a small workshop and a single van in Newport Pagnell. As Milton Keynes grew and attracted more businesses to the area, Brian Currie (Milton Keynes) Limited was formally established in March 1982. The company quickly became a DAF Truck Service Dealer and Authorised Sales Dealer, laying the foundations for decades of growth.

During the 1990s, the business expanded further, acquiring DAF service responsibility for Northampton and the surrounding area. In the early 2000s, Brian Currie acquired Banks Truck Centre in Bedford, extending DAF parts and service support across the region.

In 2017, the company opened one of the first TRP shops in the UK at Irthlingborough, supplying all-makes truck and trailer parts. This was followed in 2019 by the acquisition of Long March Commercials in Daventry. The business relocated to larger, modern premises on the Drayton Fields Industrial Estate, where it opened the UK’s first TRP Service Plus Centre, offering all-makes parts and servicing under one roof.

Growth continued in 2022 with the launch of the Biggleswade Co-op Vehicle Maintenance Unit, which has since evolved into a TRP Service Plus location. In early 2023, Brian Currie became the parts supplier to F W Abbots in Kettering, providing a fully stocked range of DAF and TRP all-makes parts.

Alongside its truck operations, Brian Currie has a long history in van sales and servicing. The company previously sold and serviced LDV vans until 2009, before taking on the Fiat Professional franchise until 2014. That year marked a major milestone, as Brian Currie was awarded the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles franchise for Milton Keynes and the surrounding area. The former Summerson Road site was completely refurbished and is now home to a dedicated Volkswagen Van Centre, located just around the corner from the DAF Truck Centre at Bleak Hall, Milton Keynes.

In 2025, Brian Currie further strengthened its offering by introducing Farizon, an all-new electric van franchise. As one of the first three Farizon dealers in the UK, the business is proud to be at the forefront of the transition to electric commercial vehicles.

Today, Brian Currie Van Centre offers a true one-stop shop in Milton Keynes, supplying new Volkswagen and Farizon vans, approved used Volkswagen vans, and full aftersales support including parts, tyres, accessories and servicing.
